Alpha

The Church regularly runs Alpha courses - an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. The course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith and it is for everyone, especially those wanting to investigate Christianity.

The course runs for ten weeks, with a weekend away in the middle, and follows the following format:

Supper: There is a light meal together at the beginning of each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

Talk: After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.

Coffee & Small groups: Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Youth Alpha

Youth Alpha is a chance for teenagers to find out who Jesus really is and how Christianity and real life fit together:

You get to ask the tough questions and chat through the issues you’ve always thought about, in a place where your views are respected. It’s also a great way to make new mates (and get some decent food too).

The whole thing runs over 10 weeks and includes a weekend or a day away in the middle, the same format as the adult alpha. Each session looks at different issues to do with Christianity such as who Jesus is, what faith is all about, why people pray, and how God speaks to people today.

The Marriage Course

The Marriage Course is for any married couple who wants to build strong foundations for a healthy marriage that will last a lifetime.
