WelcomeYou are very welcome to join us at Church of Christ the Servant, an ecumenical congregation in partnership with the Methodist, URC, Baptist, Anglican and Catholic Churches. The building is modern, the congregation vibrant, the worship meaningful. Grounded in the love of Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to Celebrate God's love, share His Concerns and show His Care. We are part of the fastest growing housing programme in Europe, in a high employment areas in the country with many young families coming in due to jobs. As with all parts of the country we are affected by the recession but are able to meet the challenge with faith in Christ. The church has been going for 11 years, and has had a building since 2001. It is an Ecumenical partnership with free church minister (Baptist currently) and Anglican and Catholic partners. Brian Sweetman, our minister, leads most of our Sunday worship with exciting insight and joy.we have many people involved in differing aspects of the service. On the second Sunday in the month we have a communion service, celebrated in different styles, and on the third Sunday in the month we have an all age service. This involves DVDs, different kinds of music and more of an activity based involvement with everyone. If people do not want to join in they are welcome to enjoy by observing.
